Due to the ongoing crisis of COVID-19 I have temporarily moved all teaching to 1 to 1 video link using Skype. This has been a necessary move to protect all students and their families. I am happy to start new students on this system and hope to return to teaching at my music studio as soon as this virus threat is overcome however and whenever that will be. I am grateful to the loyalty of all current students who have already taken up this option.
If you are looking for a piano or music teacher, now is just as good a time to start and I am happy to discuss your needs. All you need is a keyboard or piano, Wi-Fi link, a laptop or smartphone with video capacity and download the free software ‘skype’. I can then send teaching materials via email so you can print them off and work at your own convenience. Lessons can be timetabled one a week and payments can be either send via cheque or internet banking.
I am based in Carmarthen and have over thirty five years’ experience as a private music teacher.
I offer lessons in piano, classical organ, singing, music theory, aural training, history of music and music appreciation.
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exams offered. Any age from 6 years are catered for, from beginners to advanced students.
I am also available as an accompanist for all occasions – weddings, funerals and instrumental exams.
